Sponsor a Ministry or Project

There are several projects that we are currently undertaking in order to provide for the physical, financial, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs of our community. We invite you to some of the many ways in which you can partner with us to make a difference in the world — one person at a time.

Prayers

Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven.

James 5:14-15 (NLT)

The power of prayer cannot be denied when it comes to the work of community transformation. We solicit your prayers that we are equipped and empowered by God to complete the work before us.

Presence

When he found him, he brought him back to Antioch. Both of them stayed there with the church for a full year, teaching large crowds of people. (It was at Antioch that the believers were first called Christians.

Acts 11:25-26 (NLT)

“Christian” is not a self-applied label — it is what those who observe the pattern of our discipleship calls us as believers. We invite you to be a part of what God is doing through your presence with us in the work.

Gifts

But our bodies have many parts, and God has put each part just where he wants it. How strange a body would be if it only had one part! Yes, there are many parts, but only one body. The eye can never say to the hand, “I don’t need you.” The head can’t say to the feet, “I don’t need you.”

1 Corinthians 12:18-21 (NLT)

Just like the human body needs the cooperation of every part in order to accomplish even mundane tasks, we need your cooperation with us. God blesses us so that we are a blessing to others. We hope that you will partner with us with the use of your gifts and resources so that we can do the work.

Service

All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer. A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had.

Acts 2:42-44 (NLT)

As believers in Jesus Christ we are committed to a lifestyle of community transformation. Our pattern of discipleship looks at the life and ministry of Jesus Christ and seeks to be a voice to the voiceless. Our aim is to empower those who are oppressed and to declare the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ. Become part of what God is doing in this place as we work through the power of the Holy Spirit to speak truth to power and act on behalf of the oppressed.
